Every mission runs on a full team — on the surface, on the water, and in the water. If you're qualified, motivated, and ready to train, we want to hear from you.
Volunteer roles
Public Safety Diver
Certified divers trained for cold, low-visibility public safety operations.
Tender
Line handler and dive-side support during in-water operations.
Boat Operator
Experienced boat operators for Alaska waters.
Surface Support
Logistics, safety, and shore-side operations.
Medic
EMT/paramedic support integrated into rescue teams.
Sonar Operator
Trained on side scan and sector scan sonar for target search.
ROV Operator
Operates remote vehicles for deep or high-risk inspections.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Valid identification
- Background check may be required due to possible evidence handling
- Ability to attend regular trainings and meetings
- Role-specific certifications where applicable
